Det är helt magiskt.

Glad i hågen gick jag i går in på Digi-Keys hemsida för att beställa lite goa grejor. Jag beställde:

* 2 seriekablar
* 2 DVI-D till HDMI kablar (2 meter)
* 2 USB till serie kablar

Helt vanliga grejor alltså, för någon som håller med datorer. Det rör sig inte om artiklar i teknikens framkant.

Det hör till historien att jag var ute på uppdrag av mitt konsultbolag EC Solutions (Experto Crede Solutions). Man är ju vän med tekniken och dessutom gillar jag snabba leveranser så jag beställer ju online. För snabbare leverans beställde jag 2 meters HDMI kablar fast jag egentligen ville ha 1 meters kabel (men den var restad).
Någonstans under beställningen får jag för mig att jag skall fylla i att jag representerar EC Solutions och inte agerar på eget bevåg. Precis där, när jag gör det, förvandlas jag från privatperson till fullfjädrad terrorist. Om jag bara inte hade gjort det!

Följande mailtråd visar "America at its best". Det måste vara fruktansvärt ångestfyllt att vara amerikan och ha en sådan hotfull och illasinnad värld runt omkring sig.
